Our printer calls this block 'duckbills.' John prefers to think of it as rain. The block edges meet haphazardly and create their own rhythm. For this colorway, the block’s pattern is coated in color and printed on a white ground, creating a luminous look.
Our hand block printed fabrics are made by skilled artisans using hand carved wooden blocks and screens. As a part of the inherent beauty of the traditional craftsmanship, slight variations in color and design may occur, and pattern repeats are approximate.
