Sometimes John makes a new block from parts of older blocks. Chand is a recycled, small leaf print that's placed together into medallions, then printed edge to edge like layers of vines blooming over a garden wall.
Our hand block printed fabrics are made by skilled artisans using hand carved wooden blocks and screens. As a part of the inherent beauty of the traditional craftsmanship, slight variations in color and design may occur, and pattern repeats are approximate.
