During summer months in Rajasthan, the Maharajas covered the floors of their palaces with carpets made from light, handwoven fabrics that are block printed and then stitched together. John loved these antique rugs for their specially made designs and scale, and thought they'd be perfect for our fabrics.
Our hand block printed fabrics are made by skilled artisans using hand carved wooden blocks and screens. As a part of the inherent beauty of the traditional craftsmanship, slight variations in color and design may occur, and pattern repeats are approximate.
