These hand stitched quilts have been the hero of John Robshaw's collection since he first introduced them decades ago - he affectionally calls them 'running stitch quilts'. A centuries old tradition of hand quilting, these artisans, often women working communally, stitch from the outside in using what are called running stitches.

Quilts are made patiently and meticulously by hand, using organic cotton. Each quilt takes days to complete. Cut, layered, stitched, and finished entirely by hand. Crafted entirely in India, these quilts embody the richness of artisanal quilting traditions preserved through generations.
